**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our fast-paced food production environment. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining filling machines while ensuring food safety and quality protocols are strictly adhered to. Candidates must be ready to work in shifts and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in maintaining the integrity of packages. **Responsibilities** + Set-up, operate, and maintain filling machine. + Perform and record quality checks to ensure shelf-life integrity and package quality. + Perform nominal maintenance on equipment. + Perform and document CIP’S and in-process sanitation on equipment and/or area as needed. + Ensure food safety and quality protocols are followed. + Ensure all Safety and GMP regulations are followed at all times. + Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, and aprons. + Provide coverage in the absence of other Machine Operators. + Input redzone codes accurately and timely. **Essential Skills** + Experience in food manufacturing and machine operation. + Proficiency in packaging and warehouse operations. + Forklift operation skills. + General labor skills. + Ability to work with moderate supervision, be detail-oriented, and exercise independent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. + Strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. + Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and the ability to read charts and monitors. + Ability to multitask. + Capability to push up to 300 pounds and pull up to 500 pounds with mechanical assistance, and lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Computer skills. + Ability to stand for 12+ hours. + Ability to handle strong odors/smells. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that supports long-term growth and stability, backed by a robust partnership with Intel. Steel toe boots are required for all production and warehouse positions. Be prepared to work in shifts that include both day and night options. The environment may have strong odors, and the ability to stand for extended periods (12+ hours) is necessary. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
