Job Description
The Filler Operator plays a crucial role in the production process by ensuring the efficient operation of filling equipment for dairy-related products. This involves setting up, operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting production equipment in alignment with standard operating procedures, thereby achieving satisfaction for customers, team members, and vendors.
ResponsibilitiesAchieve assigned goals in production, safety, quality, performance, and cost.Operate filling equipment including setup, startup, shutdown, and cleaning as per standard procedures.Troubleshoot equipment issues following established protocols.Notify team of mechanical malfunctions to enhance productivity and equipment capabilities.Engage in CIP processes, including chemical input temperature and time controls, and monitor COP.Maintain production schedules, meet order expectations, and participate in waste reduction efforts.Clear any production line jam-ups and restore operations promptly.Comply with GMPs, SOPs, and plant policies and regulations.Utilize inventory control systems to update inventory and access necessary details.Conduct ongoing product quality control checks.Support all production areas as assigned and train on key production areas.Gain competence in online circuits and ensure correct hookups.Cover staffing needs during breaks, lunches, and absences as assigned.Comply with legal requirements concerning dairy processing and safety.Report safety concerns and take corrective actions to ensure a safe environment.Report food safety problems and support SQF by maintaining food safety and quality.Ensure work areas are sanitary and adhere strictly to sanitation practices.Communicate effectively between shifts and departments.Essential SkillsExperience in visual inspection and quality control.Proficiency in general production and operation of filling machines.Strong ability to apply basic to complex mathematical concepts.Fluency in English for reading, writing, and communication.Ability to operate facility equipment as required.Completion of company training requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of company's mission, purpose, and goals.Ability to interpret company documents and UPC/code information.Preference for additional language skills if there is a business need.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is FDA regulated, operating 365 days a year, with shifts available both day (6am-6:30pm) and night (6pm-6:30am). Employees work on a rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off. The dress code requires a uniform and steel-toed boots, with uniforms provided and affordable boots available at local retailers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $24.50/hr.
