**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our filling machines. This position requires a keen eye for detail and adherence to safety and quality protocols to maintain the integrity of our products. **Responsibilities** + Set up, operate, and maintain filling machines. + Perform and record quality checks to ensure shelf-life integrity and package quality. + Perform nominal maintenance on equipment. + Conduct and document clean-in-place (CIP) processes and in-process sanitation as required. + Ensure compliance with food safety and quality protocols. + Adhere to all Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations. + Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, and aprons. + Provide coverage in the absence of other Machine Operators. + Accurately input redzone codes in a timely manner. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in food manufacturing, machine operation, packaging, and warehouse environments. + Ability to work with moderate supervision while being detail-oriented. + Strong interpersonal communication skills, with proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. + Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, along with the ability to read charts and monitors. + Ability to multitask and exercise independent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift operation experience is beneficial. + Ability to push up to 300 pounds and pull up to 500 pounds with mechanical assistance. + Capability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently, with the use of the buddy system for items over 50 pounds or awkward items. **Why Work Here?** Experience long-term growth in a stable work environment with opportunities for upward mobility as the company expands. Steel toe boots are required for all production and warehouse positions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
