Overview of the role:

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.  is seeking a Filler Operator, for an existing opportunity within our organization.

You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for set up, start up and the operation of filling equipment, includes caser/stacker area, accurate and timely completion of documentation and good housekeeping that meet food safety requirement.

Schedule: Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday 15:15 – 1:45 Off Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Salary: $24.32 - End rate: $34.12

Full-time only: There are salary increases every 6 months up until 24 months of service.

How you will make contributions that matter:

Ensure case supply to caser equipment and conveyers are properly working

Input and receive data from computer terminal

Maintain quality control checks of codes, seals and weights

Regular cleaning of associated work area and equipment operated

Report mechanical failures and repair minor breakdowns

Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. quality standards.

Other duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

Grade 12 education

Mechanically inclined

Working knowledge in food or dairy environment

Forklift Licensed preferred

Basic computer knowledge would be an asset

Must be a person who can multi-task and enjoys working in a dynamic environment

A high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyone

Can easily assume additional responsibility as required

Quick at assessing the facts and making a sound decision

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
