Job Title: Field TechnicianJob Description

As a Field Technician, you will oversee various tasks on the job site and maintain effective communication with the owner, leadership, and crew. You will be responsible for hanging duct work, cutting, measuring, and installing HVAC units, as well as starting up HVAC units. Additionally, you will perform preventive maintenance, including changing filters and belts, testing the units, and conducting visual and audio inspections.

ResponsibilitiesHang duct work and install HVAC units.Perform preventive maintenance such as changing filters and belts.Test, start up, and inspect HVAC units visually and audibly.Install sheet metal using basic hand tools like hammers and cordless drills.Select appropriate materials based on strength requirements.Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensions.Connect and secure seams through riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws.Work on assembly lines, including punching holes for screws and bending gutters.Essential Skills5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation and furnace work.Proficiency in sheet metal installation.Professional communication skills.Experience with brazing and using hand tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to coordinate and order materials effectively.Experience in teaching and coaching field personnel.Capability to communicate schedules and plans with leadership.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
