Job Title: Field Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join our team due to new CO2 regulations. This role involves installing CO2 monitors in various client locations such as restaurants and gas stations. The installation process is straightforward, primarily involving the use of CAT 5 cabling.

Responsibilities

Drive to the warehouse daily to collect equipment before heading to client sites.Install CO2 monitors using CAT 5 cabling at client locations.Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring supplies and parts are organized.Assist in the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems on commercial sites.Communicate effectively with clients and team members.Document all client visits and installations for daily reporting.

Essential Skills

High School Diploma or General Education Degree.2+ years of experience in light construction, mechanical, or electrical work.Experience with conduits and wiring.Proficiency in using basic hand tools.Capability to drive and use own vehicle for site visits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with low voltage or light electrical work is advantageous.Ability to use a smartphone for GPS navigation and documentation.Familiarity with Aerotek expenses and mileage documentation.

Work Environment

The work involves daily travel to customer sites within a 2-hour radius of Jacksonville, using your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement provided. The role requires a high level of independence with minimal field management. Work hours are generally from 7 am to 3 pm, with the potential to start as early as 6:30 am on some days. You will receive two days of training before working independently.

This is a Contract position based out of West Palm Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
