**Job Title: Field Technician** **Job Description**
As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites to install CO2 monitors due to new regulatory requirements. This position involves light low voltage work similar to installing fire alarms and uses CAT 5 cabling. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including restaurants and gas stations, but not residential areas.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install CO2 monitors at customer sites using CAT 5 cabling.
+ Engage in a soft sell approach to explain regulations, installation process, and costs.
+ Collect contact information for decision makers if installation is declined.
+ Document daily activities and provide information at the end of each day.
**Essential Skills**
+ Installation
+ Cable pulling and cabling
+ Facilities maintenance
+ Ability to communicate politely and effectively with customers
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with low voltage or light electrical work
+ Handy DIY skills
+ Experience driving for work is beneficial
+ Ability to work independently and honestly

**Work Environment**
You will work independently at various customer sites, with minimal field management and two days of training. The job requires documenting daily activities and meeting in the shop before heading out. Shifts typically run from 7am to 3pm, with the possibility to start as early as 6:30am.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
