Field Technician
**Job Title: Field Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Field Technician, where you will assist in testing Nuclear Air Treatment Systems, including HEPA and charcoal adsorber in-place tests, air flows, and air balancing. You will be involved in industrial and environmental atmospheric sampling and specialized field tests. Our organization provides clean carbon fiber used in air filtration systems for Nuclear power plants across the nation. **Responsibilities** + Conduct daily testing of air filtration systems in Nuclear Power plants nationwide. + Participate in morning briefings with managers and plant managers to plan daily activities. + Review procedures and set up equipment for testing air filtration systems. + Assist in the shutdown of plant machines and equipment in coordination with plant managers. + Check air filtration systems for leaks and ensure their reliability. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude and experience with building mechanisms using hand and power tools. + Proficient in mathematics, including calculations, measuring systems, decimals, adding, and subtracting. + Customer-facing skills with a strong orientation towards customer service. + Availability to travel 50%-70% of the time. + Must pass government contract requirements and drug tests at every facility visited. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in automotive, military, or trade schools. + Experience with HVAC or air filtration systems. + Ability to read and interpret process diagrams and blueprints. + HVAC certification is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Working with us means enjoying benefits like a $55 per diem when traveling, all travel expenses covered, and the opportunity to utilize frequent flyer miles. Our team is family-oriented with a small headcount of 15 people in the facility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
