Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Field Technician where you will be responsible for the startup of HVAC units and performing preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters and belts. This role involves conducting visual and audio inspections, installing sheet metal, and utilizing basic hand tools like hammers and cordless drills. You will also be responsible for selecting appropriate materials based on required strength, cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal to precise dimensions, and assembling pieces according to blueprints or specifications.
ResponsibilitiesPerform startup of HVAC units and conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters and belts.Conduct visual and audio inspections of HVAC units to ensure proper functioning.Install sheet metal using basic hand tools like hammers and cordless drills.Select appropriate materials for each job based on strength requirements.Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions.Measure, cut, and weld pieces together according to specifications and blueprints.Connect pieces or secure seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws.Perform assigned work on assembly lines, such as punching holes for screws or bending gutters.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in sheet metal installation and HVAC systems.Proficiency in using basic hand tools.Experience in HVAC startup, including changing filters and belts, and testing units.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in brazing and interest in learning HVAC startup.Ability to install sheet metal in commercial and industrial settings.Own hand tools and willingness to drive own vehicle to job sites.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work involves commercial and industrial job sites within a 30-mile radius, occasionally extending to 50 miles, with mileage reimbursement for distances beyond this. Employees are expected to drive their own vehicles to job sites.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
