Job Title: Service Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. This role requires travel primarily within the Bridgeport area, with commutes to New Haven and Long Island Sound. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of fuel cells, collaborating with field service engineers who handle installations. The position offers the flexibility of reporting from home and includes access to a company pickup truck, tools, equipment, and a gas card for travel. Although mostly day trips, occasional overnight stays may be necessary to service locations throughout Greater New England, with travel and expenses reimbursed during these times. Tools and safety shoes will be provided or reimbursed, and work sites include airports, industrial customers, schools, and hotels.

ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain fuel cells.Collaborate with field service engineers on installations.Troubleshoot, test, and repair equipment.Travel to various locations, primarily airports and industrial sites, occasionally schools and hotels.Work outdoors in all weather conditions.Receive reporting locations and tasks the night before.Essential SkillsMechanical and electrical repair skills.Experience with field service and installation.Knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC, including 480 Volt systems.Plumbing and mechanical expertise.Ability to read blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsTrade school certificates.Proficiency with hand tools.Excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions.Ability to travel as required.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
