Job Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will have the opportunity to travel worldwide to customer facilities, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sophisticated industrial machinery used in wood fastening. This role requires a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems. A significant portion of your work will involve system upgrades, with additional responsibilities in installation and machine setup, as well as general equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
Set up and configure new machinery at client sites.Conduct operational and safety training for customer personnel.Diagnose and resolve issues involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Perform routine and emergency maintenance.Document service activities and any equipment modifications.Provide remote assistance using phone, video, and digital tools.Occasionally assist with equipment relocation and upgrades.Essential Skills
Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, repair, installation, and electrical systems.Experience with PLCs, field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Ability to interpret technical blueprints and schematics.3+ years of experience in field service or maintenance.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will travel across the USA and internationally to locations such as Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and South America. Work environments may include wood pallet production facilities and sawmills, which can be hot, cold, or dirty. The standard work schedule is Monday-Friday, from 7 AM to 4/5 PM, with no overnight work required. You will be part of a team with four other technicians.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $104000.00/yr.
