**Job Title: Field Service Technician - $30-$36/hour + $15/hour when traveling** Job Description As a Field Service Technician, you will provide foundational service and support for packaging machinery, such as VFFS machines, multi-lane stick pack machines, and rotary fillers. This role focuses on building technical skills, supporting other technicians on complex tasks, and delivering excellent customer service. You will manage customer service-related issues, product service alerts, troubleshooting, and warranty matters. Utilizing ERP tools, you will assist in generating service reports, maintaining call logs, and contributing to customer experience reporting, ensuring our customer database remains in impeccable condition. Responsibilities + Understand both the company and customer’s technical needs. + Establish and maintain industry and company technical knowledge. + Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams. + Research and evaluate onsite solutions to address organizational technical challenges. + Be an industry expert, particularly in packaging machines and technical skillsets. Essential Skills + Mechanical and electrical service experience. + Valid Driver’s License with no major violations within the last 3 years. + High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical Diploma preferred. + 2+ years of relevant experience. + General computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel). + Familiarity with ERP systems. + Ability to read electrical schematics. + Ability to troubleshoot electrical wiring. + Strong organizational and teamwork skills. + Strong customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree is a plus. + Experience installing and servicing packaging/Bagger machines is a nice-to-have. + Living within 1 hour of an airport is advantageous.
