We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to perform repairs and last-minute checks on equipment. The role involves troubleshooting equipment, interfacing with customers to discuss machine problems and operational issues, and providing nationwide support. When not on-site, you will provide phone support. This position requires traveling to customer sites, with the expectation to be home on weekends.

Essential Skills2+ years of experience as a Technician troubleshooting and repairing filling, food production, and packaging equipment.2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience.2+ years of experience in troubleshooting or installing equipment with mechanical and electrical functions.2+ years of experience traveling for field work.
Additional Skills & QualificationsProficient in mechanical maintenance and repair.Experience with packaging machinery and filling machines.Strong troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment
This role operates primarily during 1st shift hours from 7am to 3:30pm, with travel constituting 75% or more of the job. Candidates are not required to be local, as long as they live within 1.5 hours of a major airport. The work environment is a clean manufacturing shop, adhering to GMP standards. The noise level is moderate to high, with regular exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and unpleasant odors. Travel arrangements include reimbursements for trips under 3 hours, required car rentals for 3-6 hour trips, and flights for journeys over 6 hours. Business class bookings are provided for non-stop flights over 10 hours.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
