**Job Title: Field Service Technician : Up to $28 per hour : New Hope, MN** **Job Description** We are seeking motivated mechanics to service balers, compactors, and industrial equipment. This role involves performing repairs, maintenance, and installation of equipment, with a focus on maximizing safe and productive operations through work on hydraulics, basic electrical operations, and welding fabrication. **Responsibilities** + Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, preventative maintenance, and repairs on various types of compactors and other stationary equipment. + Read electrical schematics and diagnose and repair electrical problems on equipment using both single and three-phase AC voltage. + Read hydraulic schematics and diagnose and repair hydraulic issues on equipment. + Complete paperwork and enter data associated with repairing relevant equipment in an accurate and timely manner. + Follow all safety policies and procedures. + Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent. **Essential Skills** + Electrical + Mechanical + Troubleshooting + Schematic reading + Service + Preventive maintenance + Field service repair + Welding + Hydraulics repair **Work Environment** The role involves driving a company truck around a five-state area, averaging 100 miles a day with 2-3 hours of driving. The vehicle is picked up from the shop and returned at night. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
