**Job Description: Field Service Technician Industrial & Construction Equipment** We are seeking a skilled and driven Equipment Technician to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and safety of industrial and construction machinery. This position requires advanced technical ability, strong problem-solving skills, and the initiative to support team growth and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** + **Diagnose and Repair:** Troubleshoot and repair various makes and models of industrial and construction equipment with precision and efficiency. + **Preventative Maintenance:** Conduct in-depth inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment is operating safely and reliably. + **Technical Expertise:** Utilize diagnostic software, technical manuals, and specialized tools to pinpoint and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. + **Component Overhauls:** Lead or assist in major repairs and component replacements, including engines, transmissions, and final drives. + **Mentorship:** Provide guidance and technical support to junior technicians; serve as a shop and field mentor. + **Customer Communication:** Collaborate with Service Advisors and directly with customers to explain repair needs, timelines, and costs. + **Documentation:** Accurately complete service reports, timecards, and warranty documentation. + **Upselling:** Identify and recommend additional repairs, services, or parts that enhance performance and support customer operations. + **On-Site Support:** Deliver on-site service, cultivating strong client relationships and repeat business. + **Safety & Cleanliness:** Maintain a safe, organized, and OSHA-compliant workspace. + **Continuous Learning:** Participate in manufacturer-led training programs to keep certifications current and expand technical knowledge. + **Process Completion:** Ensure all job-related paperwork is finalized promptly and accurately after service completion. **Why Join Us?** **You’ll be part of a trusted team known for technical excellence and customer-first service.
