**Job Title: Field Service Technician $22/hr (Weekly Pay)**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CO2 gas detection systems and associated cabling in various restaurant and bar locations. This role demands a proactive approach to ensuring systems are operational and in compliance with safety standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow company safety and operational policies, procedures, and directives from the supervisor.
+ Maintain telephone communication with supervisor and dispatch to provide timely ETAs and completion of work.
+ Perform installations of CO2 gas detection systems and associated cabling.
+ Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication.
+ Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure system functionality.
+ Pull, route, or label CAT5 or CAT6 cable, utilizing ladders as necessary.
+ Collaborate with field service team members to resolve complex issues.
+ Provide high-quality service to all customers.
+ Verify current inventory levels versus install schedules and communicate deficiencies to the supervisor.
+ Maintain the proper operation of all equipment, tools, and ladders.
+ Ensure sufficient inventory levels of all parts.
+ Provide daily communication to the assigned supervisor.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience running network cabling, plumbing, and cable installation.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
+ Ability to interpret instructions furnished in various forms.
+ Effective communication skills for install challenges verbally and by email.
+ Experience with field installation.
+ Basic mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
+ Basic Microsoft Office products computer skills.
+ Basic electronic knowledge.
+ Strong mechanical ability.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1 year of field service technician experience.
+ Installation experience with hand and power tools.
+ Ability to climb a 6ft ladder.

**Work Environment**
The contractor will work in various restaurant and bar locations, both indoors and outdoors. They will use their own vehicle to travel to job sites with mileage reimbursement. This is a 3-4 month contract job, operating Monday through Friday from 7am-3pm. The attire required includes jeans, a collared shirt, and steel-toed boots. A training period of 2-4 weeks will be provided, after which the technician will work independently.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
