Field Service Technician – Nationwide Travel

Location: United States/ Alabama

Rampart is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on, travel-intensive role that supports installations and repairs of advanced medical equipment across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to customer facilities to perform equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance

Be on the road up to 95% of the time

Provide service across the United States (domestic travel required)

Fly to destinations over 200 miles (flights and hotels paid for)

Work in operating room (OR) environments

Conduct mechanical and limited electronic troubleshooting

Perform wiring, hands-on repairs, and equipment diagnostics

Maintain a high level of professionalism and presentability at all times

Engage with clients; outgoing personalities are more likely to succeed in this role

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude (hands-on experience with tools and repairs)

Experience in the medical field or willingness to learn preferred

Electronic skills a plus, but not essential

Ability to work independently and travel frequently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be presentable and client-facing

Wiring and troubleshooting experience required

Compensation & Benefits:

Per diem provided while traveling

All travel expenses (flights, hotels) covered

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $28.50/hr.
