**Job Title: Field Service Technician** **Job Description** The Field Service Technician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining mechanical and electrical components of compressed air systems. This includes working with compressors, compressed air dryers, and filter systems. The role requires hands-on mechanical experience, the ability to work independently, and strong mechanical aptitude. **Responsibilities** + Visually inspect, monitor operation, and listen to equipment to locate causes of malfunctions or off-quality performance. + Dismantle equipment or components to gain access to problem areas. + Inspect, measure, and clean parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other issues. + Remove and replace worn or defective parts of the system(s). + Realign and adjust components as required. + Locate and repair leaks in the equipment system. + Change oil and filters, repair valves, replace desiccant, and replace air ends. + Start equipment to test operation following repair or service. + Monitor operation and perform performance tests such as dew points. + Call on customers to promote service and make courtesy calls for goodwill. + Advise and recommend service requirements for customers. + Assist sales in the estimating process. **Essential Skills** + Hands-on mechanical experience in the field or manufacturing environment. + Customer interface experience. + Ability to work independently. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Industrial compressor experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Three to five years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Why Work Here** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits plan and the flexibility of working from home when not in the field. The role involves traveling daily from home to job sites covering PA, DE, NY, NJ, and WVA. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Warminster, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr. Solid benefits plan. A lot of OT in the field. Company cell phone and computer.
