Field Service Technician

Travel is 50-75% of the time (Majority is Monday-Thursday)Home on the weekendWhen no traveling, service technician will be in shopping helping machine builders and engineering

Pay: $33-$37 (depends on experience and interview)

Position Summary:

The purpose of this role is to service, install, assemble and rebuild machinery, support engineering and to provide technical support for resolving equipment problems. Most work is on‑site in Columbus or at our customers’ performing installations, providing technical support and trouble‑shooting. Travel may be necessary up to 50-75% of the time and is seasonally based on business requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Build and/or rebuild and assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic parts and assemblies and machinery.Self-starter who can recommend any changes to parts needed for form, fit and functioning.Troubleshoot assemblies and equipment using a solid working knowledge of software programs, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic circuits.Ability to use established processes to understand the requirements within engineering blueprints, BOM’s, manuals, and instructionsAbility to troubleshoot PLC’s & Servo applications.Assist Engineering with prototyping and experiments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $37.00/hr.
