Job Description **Who will you be working with?** You will be working with our local field service team to ensure on-site work are performed safely, on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer. This is a 2-year fixed term position. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the field service team, you will be required to carry out investigations, retrofit works, be responsible to provide technical and operational solution, including but not limited to technician training, provide expertise on day to day repair and maintenance to technician, deliver sounded technical answer to customer enquiries. **What will your typical day look like?** + Collaborate with Sisco, Project Manager on project site installation. + Work closely with Technical Manager to conduct site survey and manage /resolve on-site technical issues. + Work closely with Project Manager and adhere to required schedule. + Maintain proper documentation and reports as necessary. + Accept ad-hoc assignments from Project Manager and Country Representative. + Lead and supervise site supervisors, technicians and/or contractors to perform refurbishment works. + Ensure site safety, works quality & workmanship as specified. + Any other duties as assigned by the manager. **What do we want to know about you?** + Degree holder in E&M Engineering. High diploma with sound experience / knowledge will also be considered + 3-5 relevant working experience, experience in rolling stock or related industries is a definite advantage. Software background is preferred. Candidate with higher experience may consider as Senior Field Service Engineer + Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. + Written and spoken Mandarin is not mandatory but can be a plus who are required to connect with sister companies in Shanghai + Occasion night work as required + Sound communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with all levels of personnel + Experience in staff supervision is an advantage + Holder of CP(T), Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS), Working At Height (WAH) qualification is a plus + Able to pick up different product lines knowledge & transfer to service team member. + Good team player, responsible, diplomatic, proactive and able to work independently under minimal supervision Additional Information **What could you accomplish in a place that puts People First?** At Wabtec, it’s not just about a job - it’s about the impact you make.
