This role requires engineering knowledge and expertise within the Technical Services department, emphasizing consumer products. ResponsibilitiesConduct technically valid field investigations, effectively communicate results, and coordinate follow-up activities.Provide technical training to field sales staff and customers as necessary.Participate in the design and creation of training materials to enhance brand value and customer effectiveness.Organize and plan training sessions, collaborating with various vendors to cover necessary materials.Demonstrate increasing skill with technical information while providing technical support to internal staff and customers.Utilize engineering knowledge to achieve engineering objectives and support internal engineering projects.Communicate with vendors for effective involvement and coordinate activities to meet goals within predetermined timelines and resource limits.Complete additional tasks as required by Technical Services management.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitudeField service experienceData collectionSales engineeringExperience with mechanical and industrial equipmentField experience with customer interfaceAdditional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of automotive mechanicsProficiency in using test equipmentWork EnvironmentThe role involves high travel, with 50% of the time spent onsite with customers. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
