Field Service Engineer - 4 state area

Our client, a global leader in CMMs is seeking a **Field Service Engineer** to join the team supporting their clients in install, repair and calibration of CMM Machinery. Looking for candidates that live in the Cincinnati, Dayton or Lexington areas. Goal is to convert to perm hire, but no guarantee.
**What’s the Job?**
+ 100% travel position performing installation and machine maintenance, which includes assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis, repair,certifications, and re-calibration of CMM machines at customer sites in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan
+ You will be the face of the company for the customers and the one to build rapport. You will provide the highest customer satisfaction while representing the company in a professional manner
**What’s Needed**
+ Looking for candidates that live in the Cincinnati, Dayton or Lexington areas
+ Must have full availability to travel Mon-Fri week after week (out on Mondays, back home Fridays. So basically, you’ll only be home on weekends.
+ Need to have a reliable vehicle to use until a company van is available
+ Should have mechanical and electrical experience
+ For mechanical skills, someone who works on their own car is a good fit, as is someone with experience as a mechanic or mechanical maintenance technician
+ On the electrical side, closed loop servo experience would be very helpful, as well as experience with a multi-meter and oscilloscope
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics
+ Ability to train in Rhode Island for 2 weeks
+ Must be a US Citizen (to visit federal facilities under ITAR regulations) with clean driving record.
+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
