DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will oversee the administration and issuance of occupational licenses at the licensing office of the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission (PHRC) located at the Presque Isle Downs Racetrack. Your responsibilities will include enforcing horse racing rules and regulations, as well as collecting and processing licensing and fine fees, issuing receipts, and entering pertinent data into licensing software. A strong understanding of PHRC regulations is crucial, along with the capability to report and investigate violations. Additionally, your duties will involve conducting arrest interviews and enforcing compliance through investigations, searches, and patrols. Interested in learning more? REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: + Three years of experience in public contact work, including two years of experience in field investigation or law enforcement work; or + Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: + You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): + Professional experience in regulatory enforcement and compliance. + Experience working with or around horses.
