Job Summary
This individual will ultimately report directly to the Field Operating Director. The Field Interim Director (FID) is a high-impact leadership role reserved for Top Gun Program graduates who have demonstrated exceptional readiness to lead. Following successful completion of the Top Gun Program, this individual transitions into the field to step into Cornerstone offices during periods of leadership transition. Acting as the Operating Director, the Field Interim Director provides immediate stability by leading daily operations, supporting caregivers and clients, strengthening local relationships, and restoring operational momentum. This role requires adaptability, ownership, and strong leadership, as each assignment involves quickly assessing office needs, stabilizing performance, and preparing the location for its next permanent leader. Field Interim Directors play a critical role in protecting care quality, driving consistency, and ensuring every Cornerstone office remains strong during times of change.

Responsibilities and Duties
+ Office Operations & Leadership
+ Assume full leadership responsibilities of the departing Operating Director to ensure continuity of care, operational stability, and high-quality client and caregiver support.
+ Recruit, interview, and hire caregivers using platforms such as Indeed, ensuring appropriate staffing for all clients.
+ Oversee scheduling through AxisCare, maintaining adequate coverage for all clients and caregivers.
+ Office Assessment & Stabilization
+ Evaluate office conditions upon arrival: client and caregiver paperwork, community relationships, staffing levels, vehicle condition, and operational gaps.
+ Organize and refresh the office environment: tidy spaces, clean the Cornerstone vehicle, manage unused items, and ensure paperwork is up-to-date and scanned.
+ Collaboration & Communication
+ Maintain clear communication with Home Base team members across operational departments.
+ Partner with the Recruiting Team to support the identification of a permanent Operating Director.
+ Serve as the point of contact for clients and families, resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
+ Team Development & Compliance
+ Provide support, training, and mentorship to caregivers and managers.
+ Monitor staff performance and issue improvement plans as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
+ Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-changing environment.
+ Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
+ Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
+ Willingness and ability to travel nationwide as needed.Strong and efficient communication skills are required.
+ Must be skilled in technology to learn and train on CRMs, phone systems, and scheduling systems.
+ Preferred experience in home care, hospice, home health, or senior living communities.
+ Teachable, fast learner.
