As a vital member of the Engineering Department supporting the Wireless Systems team, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, aligning seamlessly with the company's commitment to excellence and innovation.
**Job Title :** Field Integration Test Engineer
**Location :** Redmond, WA
**What's the Job?**
+ Develop and execute comprehensive Field Integration Test scenarios across various hardware permutations and configurations.
+ Report daily progress, analyze feedback, and adjust testing strategies to ensure optimal results.
+ Collaborate closely with software engineering and quality assurance teams to identify opportunities for improving test coverage and workflow efficiency.
+ Stay current with the latest advancements in test automation, leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance testing processes.
+ Participate in site surveys, assess link budgets, SINR, and manage spectrum coordination with other wireless systems to ensure robust network performance.
**What's Needed?**
+ Understanding of functional embedded software/hardware validation and existing testing methods.
+ Basic knowledge of IP networking and wireless technologies, including testing these technologies effectively.
+ Experience in manual test case creation and execution, with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
+ Experience automating manual hardware, RF, firmware, and software testing processes.
+ Proficiency with enterprise-grade test automation frameworks, custom tool development, and project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
