About the Role:
The Oil & Gas industry has relied upon Caterpillar power for decades for the toughest drilling, gas compression, production, and well service applications. Today, Caterpillar provides a broad portfolio of industry-leading products including engines, gensets, electric motors, energy storage, transmissions, pumps, flow iron, and systems integration. We have an opening for a Field Engineer to directly support customers for issue identification and resolution, commissioning of new products, and lead fields for NPI projects. If you enjoy working directly with Caterpillar equipment, seeing immediate improvement from your actions, and helping our customers win, this is the role for you. You will be exposed to the complete catalog of Caterpillar oil and gas products from early NTI, NPI, and through the full operating life cycle.

Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years hands-on experience in large equipment with experience in operation, testing, and/or troubleshooting, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMotivated to support the customer and data drivenApplication experience in power systems offerings such as diesel, natural gas, dual fuel, motors, powertrain, hybrid solutions, energy storage, system integrationMS Office Skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Strong Communication SkillsTop Candidates Will Have:
Experience with Caterpillar products and use of troubleshooting tools (CAT ET, CANape, etc.)Engineering degree or equivalent field experienceDirect experience in one or more: Large Engines, Transmissions, System Integration5+ years oil and gas experienceApplication experience across multiple P&E commercial segmentsExperience across multiple product lines (large engines, transmissions, well service pumps, motors, controls, power generation, other)What You Have – Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
