Job Title: Field EngineerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Field Engineer responsible for being onsite at various job locations, including green fields, wastewater construction, or utility construction. The role involves assessing foundations, soil, and civil grading, while working closely with professional and technical staff as well as construction personnel. Essential Skills + Experience in soil sampling, geotechnical, and civil engineering. + Proficiency in construction management. + Familiarity with construction site operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associates Degree in Civil Technology. + Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Knowledge of ACI standards, concrete, soil testing, and soil compaction. Work Environment This role requires driving to job sites, which may be up to 2 hours away. If a project is more than an hour away, overnight stays from Monday to Friday are necessary, with travel home on Friday evenings. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work during busy seasons, averaging 30% of weekends worked annually. Typical work hours are between 6am and 6pm. The position offers a small company atmosphere with room for growth, salary pay, and eligibility for overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
