About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-driven Fiber Technician to join our dynamic team, supporting a range of commercial fiber optic installations. This role is ideal for a technician with a strong background in fiber splicing and testing, who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and adhering to rigorous safety standards.
What You’ll DoInstall, terminate, and splice fiber optic cables in commercial settingsPerform both ribbon and single-strand splicing with precision and consistencyConduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performanceMaintain clear and accurate documentation of work completed and materials usedCollaborate closely with project managers and fellow technicians to meet project timelines and quality expectationsWhat We’re Looking ForMinimum of 2 years’ experience in fiber optic splicing (single strand and ribbon)Proven success in commercial field installationsProficiency with fiber testing equipment and splicing toolsStrong knowledge of industry standards and safety proceduresAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsWhy Work With UsJoin a team that values craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
