Fiber Designer

What You’ll Do + Design and deliver coax and fiber optic network layouts using the ESRI/ArcGIS suite and other GIS tools + Read, interpret, input, and analyze technical data to support engineering and construction projects + Manage work assignments efficiently, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on‑time completion + Participate in the development, implementation, and upkeep of internal design processes and procedures + Communicate and collaborate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and customers to support project goals Skills That Set You Up for Success + Drafting and design aptitude + Proficiency with ArcGIS and GIS‑based tools + Understanding of OSP, fiber optic, and telecommunications design concepts + Comfortable working with data and technical documentation + Solid basic IT skills What We’re Looking For + 1+ year of experience in telecom, OSP, or fiber drafting/design + Authorization to work in the United States + High School Diploma or GED required + Comfortable using everyday office technology (PCs, tablets, printers, Microsoft/Google tools, etc.) + Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred + Experience with telecom or power distribution drafting is a plus New to telecom? No problem. Network structure and role‑specific training are provided—we’re looking for strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn. Work Environment & Culture You’ll start in a small, close‑knit satellite office where engineering and construction teams work side by side. The environment is laid‑back, collaborative, and supportive—asking questions is encouraged. As you get comfortable in the role, you’ll have the flexibility to transition into a hybrid work setup. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Henderson, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
