Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate an expert understanding of fixed income products and proactively provide fixed income trade ideas and strategies to Advisors.
Skillfully deepen relationships with advisors within territory and articulate how capital markets trading activities and trends influence client’s product holdings. Responsible for a geographic area of coverage to support advisor sales of fixed income products.
Cultivate the deep understanding and present fixed income portfolio ideas and recommendations to advisors in a proactive way.
Demonstrate the communication skills, etiquette and confidence to convey fixed income concepts into information that is digestible by varied audiences. Provide expert fixed income guidance to advisors that is crucial to the successful implementation as well as on-going servicing of the affluent account.
With guidance, understand and translate the strategic economic views of the firm, IRG (Investment Research Group), and the trading desk into actionable portfolio recommendations that are aligned with the Firms’ overall outlook. Provide input to help shape the investment strategy messaging in partnership with wealth management, IRG and marketing.
Support fixed income trading strategists with portfolio creation and rebalancing ideas.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience
Active Series 7
Active Series 63/66
Demonstrated expert knowledge of all fixed income securities, financial markets, portfolio strategy, economics and marketing products
Advanced understanding of fixed income regulatory issues
Proven ability to build strong partnerships & relationships and coach and influence appropriately
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and have the ability to work productively and effectively in a highly stressful, time sensitive environment all the while adhering to policies and procedures

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $62,000 - $82,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
