Job Title: Fermentation Operator
Job Description
As a Fermentation Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining fermentation tanks and food production machinery. This includes handling packaging machinery, labelers, vats, dryers, and conveyor systems. You will also perform sanitation duties, weigh and count products accurately, manage material check-ins and check-outs, and complete disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly tasks safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will print labels, conduct minor quality inspections, and record data related to the products being manufactured.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of fermentation processes.Mechanical aptitude.1+ year of LOTO experience.1+ year of experience operating production machinery in a GMP environment.1+ year of experience with sanitation duties.Experience in food production.Skills in documentation review and quality inspection.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
You will work in a climate-controlled GMP environment on the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There is a shift premium of $1.75 per hour, and optional overtime of up to 5 hours may be available. You must adhere to GMP codes, requiring safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, pants without holes, hair nets, and beard nets. 3rd shift and also weekend shifts are available as well. Pay is between $21-$27hr

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
