**Job Title: Foreman-- Fence Installer** **Job Description** Join our team as a Foreman, where you will play a key role in installing agricultural fencing. You will work in the field, handling various fence materials including steel, composite, and wood, as well as gates and wires. This position requires physical activity, including lifting and handling equipment. **Responsibilities** + Assist in digging post holes and unloading tools and equipment. + Lift and install fence gates and pour concrete. + Perform construction site cleanup. + Continually lift, stretch, and load equipment. + Work with various fence materials such as picket, privacy, split rail, cedar wood, chain link, ornamental steel, aluminum, vinyl, and farm/ranch fences. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of fence installation experience. + Ability to lift up to 100 pounds. + Valid Driver's License. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in using power tools and concrete construction. + Experience in landscaping and operating a skid loader. **Why Work Here?** We are a family-owned business with a reputation for quality. Join a team of three crew members and a working owner, with access to specialty equipment like augers, gas-powered post drivers, and skid loaders. Dress code includes jeans, T-shirts, and construction boots, with company-provided logoed apparel. Work hours are 7 am - 6 pm, with occasional Saturdays. Layoffs occur when the ground freezes. Projects are mainly within 60 miles of Cambridge, starting at the shop each morning and traveling in a company vehicle. PPE, including hard hats and safety glasses, is provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cambridge, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
