Position Summary Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Our Business Finance offering enables finance to drive strategic value through transformation and synchronization of planning, costing, budgeting and forecasting across finance and other functions. Using advanced, scalable data and tech platforms, we also generate actionable insights and analytics, streamline decision making and enable data driven profitable growth. Manages risk and opportunities associated with diverse and complex grant programs through end-to-end grants management solutions.
Work You'll Do:We are seeking an experienced grants management professional to join our team, focusing on the FEMA Public Assistance, FEMA Individual Assistance Program, and/or Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for the State of Kansas. This role is ideal for a professional residing in the State of Kansas, Kansas City, Missouri, or within a 2-hour commute of Topeka, Kansas. The selected candidate will be required to work 2-3 days per week from the client site in Topeka, Kansas, and/or in other communities across the State of Kansas, providing technical assistance as required.Provide expert grants management support, technical assistance, and guidance for the FEMA Public Assistance program, FEMA Individual Assistance Program, Hazard Mitigation Program, State/Local Relief Funds, and/or HUD Community Development Block Grants.Collaborate closely with clients at their office to deliver high-quality, tailored support.Conduct site visits and on-site evaluations as necessary to ensure compliance and effective program implementation.Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including state and local government officials, community leaders, and other relevant parties.Prepare and review grant applications, reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations and policies related to grants management.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor’s degree required.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this roleMust be local to the Topeka, Kansas area and able to come onsite in Topeka, Kansas. 2+ years of experience in the following:Provide expert grants management support, technical assistance, and guidance for the FEMA Public Assistance program or FEMA Individual Assistance Program. Grants management experience at the state, local and/or federal level supporting disaster recovery programs.2 CFR 200; GAAP; OMB Circulars (A-110, A-122, and A-133)2+ years of experience in the Microsoft Office Suite to include:Pivot Tables, V Lookups or Formulas within ExcelDeveloping PowerPoints for external stakeholders.
