Your Impact

The FDC Outbound Coordinator is primarily responsible for efficiently and effectively managing outbound shipments from the flatbed distribution center (FDC). This includes organizing and setting up the daily outbound trailer work queue for the shipping team based on corporate requests and store demand. This role ensures all products are accurately loaded on the correct outbound trailers and that priority products are dispatched to the appropriate stores on time and within required standards.

What You Will Do

Identifies trailers to be loaded for shipping and sets up work queue in the warehouse management system for associates to execute; prioritizes trailers based on store demandVerifies trailers are accurate by reviewing the bill of lading (BOL)Sets up associates for success; allocates sufficient loads for next day so that associates can start immediately with no delayResolves any issues in the warehouse management system regarding outbound shipmentsUpdates and prints special order sales tickets from systemManages all vendor cross-dock and special order salesComplete all requirements needed to plan, assign carrier loads, build loads, and allocate based on demand and need of the facility and stores to support in-stocksIndividual ContributorMinimum QualificationsHigh School or GED General StudiesPreferred Skills/EducationBachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field Experience working in distribution center operations and traffic controlExperience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problemsExperience working in a customer-facing roleExperience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe’s warehouse management system
