### Job Duties Start Date: 03/01/2026 End Date: 11/15/2026 Hours: 44 hours/week, Monday - Friday 8 hours/day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Saturday 4/hours/day, Sunday 0 hours/day). Must Apply By: 07/09/2026 Job Duties: Seeding/Planting: shoveling dirt, moving dirt, filling flats, operating flat filler machinery, seeding, operating the seeding machinery, and labeling. Also, responsible for moving flats in the greenhouse and loading carts for delivery. Transplanting Field: organizing trays, documenting planting, hand transplanting into beds (with or without tractor) Tunnel: organizing trays, documenting planting, hand transplanting plants into beds or pots Fieldwork: assist in preparing fields for planting including laying irrigation, shaping beds, and laying plastic. Also, responsible for assisting in field clean-up at the end of the year including removing plant and waste material. Will use tractors to assist in these projects. Greenhouse: assist in preparing tunnels for planting including laying irrigation and fabric. Also, responsible for assisting in tunnel clean-up including removing plant and waste material. Regulate greenhouse conditions and repair and maintain irrigation and climate control systems. Haul and spread topsoil, compost, and fertilizer to the soil. Plant Maintenance: weeding, trellising, lowering and leaning, and pruning greenhouse plants Farm Maintenance: cleaning, weeding, maintaining grounds and landscaping, organizing, and minor repair and maintenance of greenhouse tunnels, farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment Harvest: safely and efficiently follow procedures to harvest produce properly including bunching, grading, sorting, and storage by hand. Also, responsible for documenting harvest and labeling. Bulk harvest of some seasonal produce. Washing and Packing: safely and efficiently follow procedures to wash and pack produce properly. Also, responsible for sorting, grading, labeling, building delivery pallets, and loading them onto a delivery truck. Also includes washing our reusable harvest and delivery crates operating an industrial washing machine. Cleaning: maintaining a clean work environment on the farm and at the farmhouse. Regular cleaning of delivery and harvest materials and operation of the washing machine. Also, responsible for documenting and following all safety procedures. Operating: farm vehicles, small engine lawn tractors/mowers, tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery like tillers and pallet jacks. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. There is exposure to extreme temperature. ### Minimum Education Required No High School Diploma or GED required. ### Minimum Experience Required Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
