About the Position:
The Airframe Structural Design Engineering team develops and sustains the structural definition of all large cabin Gulfstream aircraft, supporting both new product development and ongoing improvements to the existing fleet. Our core mission is to deliver safe, efficient, high‑quality designs that are manufacturing‑ready, on schedule, and within budget while supporting manufacturing, service teams, and customers. Structural design engineers define the form, fit, and function of airframe parts and assemblies, integrate systems, and select appropriate materials, processes, and finishes using CAD and PLM tools.
As a Gulfstream engineering intern, you’ll be immersed in real engineering work from the start. Interns are treated as contributing members of the team, working on meaningful projects that directly support aircraft design and FAA certification. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers, gain hands‑on exposure to industry tools and processes, and receive mentorship that helps you grow both technically and professionally.

+ Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
+ Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume.
+ Minimum duration: 12–14 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).
+ Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.
+ Must have reliable transportation.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
