**Quality Assurance Technician – FAI Focus- CONTRACT** **Location:** Wichita, KS **Pay Range:** $25 per hour Our client is hiring an experienced **Quality Assurance Technician** with a strong focus on **First Article Inspection (FAI)** to support precision manufacturing operations in Wichita, KS. This role is ideal for a quality professional who excels in inspection, documentation, and compliance within an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment. **What You’ll Do** + Perform and lead **First Article Inspections (FAI)** in accordance with **AS9102** and customer-specific requirements. + Prepare, review, and maintain complete FAI packages, including ballooned drawings, inspection reports, and supporting documentation. + Compare scanned and measured data against design requirements, tolerances, and **GD&T** callouts. + Support **PPAP** and **NPI** activities as they relate to first article and initial production approval. + Maintain compliance with **ISO, AS, and/or IATF** quality management system requirements. + Assist in internal and external audits by providing inspection evidence, reports, and corrective action support. **What We’re Looking For** + Quality or related technical field experience. + Hands-on experience performing **First Article Inspections** . + Strong understanding of **FAI documentation** , including forms, traceability, and revision control. + High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. **What’s in It for You** + Join a well-established and reputable manufacturing organization. + **Weekly pay** . + Access to a full **benefits package** . + Opportunity to work on complex, high-visibility first article and inspection programs.
