Facility Technician Data Center Mechanical and Electrical
**About the Role:** As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. This position is on-site in Aldie, Virginia. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments. **What You’ll Do:** + Assist with daily site inspections and building walkthroughs of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance. + Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment. + Monitor the Building Management System (BMS), respond to alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed. + Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations. + Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn’t meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement. + Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment. + Monitor BMS for running and alarm conditions and maintain building conditions within Client Service Level Agreements (SLAs). + Provide fixes to facility and data center faults and defects. + Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures. Follow all safety processes and requirements and ensure all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met. + Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records. + Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities. + Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. + Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. + Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. **What You’ll Need:** + Training in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Electrical and/or Mechanical experience is preferred. + Ability to work shifts that include weekends and holidays. + Must be able to Meet the physical requirements of this role. + To effectively present information to an internal department, client, management and/or colleagues. + Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. + Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. + Basic math skills. The minimum salary for this position is $160,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $180,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
