JOB SUMMARY:
The Working Supervisor is responsible for safely operating, maintaining, modifying, and repairing the client’s base building and laboratory systems and equipment, such as HVAC, controls, electrical distribution, plumbing, and laboratory related systems and equipment. Supervisory responsibilities of licensed trades and general maintenance technicians is also included, as well as completing one’s own work tasks assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead. Direct, and coordinate the onsite C&W Services Operations & Maintenance staffPerforms all assignments in accordance with C&W Services’ and client’s approved proceduresWork with the Quest Diagnostics Facility Manager to utilize the CMMS in order to coordinate and track resources/expenditures for all work performed.HVAC Equipment Maintenance, Repairs and Inspections
Maintain HVAC, controls, and plumbing systems and equipment as part of the facility’s preventive maintenance programRespond to all Hot/Cold calls and execute monitoring of space temperaturesConduct necessary troubleshooting and testing of equipment to determine root cause of breakdown; remove and replace faulty parts, major components, and make adjustments for proper operation.Monitor, adjust, repair, and maintain control systems used for building HVAC and lab support equipmentLaboratory Equipment Maintenance, Repairs and Inspections

Supervise / coordinate C&W Services Utility staff Support client employee workstation moves/alterationsAdditional Responsibilities could include:
Operate and supervise the maintenance and repairs of the Fire Alarm systemOrdering of necessary parts and supplies for maintenance workPerform weekly test and inspection of all emergency generatorsMaintain air compressors, air dryers, and supervisory equipment alarmsPerform other related duties as assigned such as snow removal, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairsAssist in the development and administration of Standard Operating ProceduresOBJECTIVES:

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $31.45 - $37.00
