Job Summary

EMCOR Facilities Services has an immediate opening for a Facility Supervisor at our client site in Lake Forest, IL.  The Facility Supervisor will be responsible for facility maintenance service delivery and relationships as well as supporting projects and the facilities team.  In addition to managing the Services this position supervises, and coordinates activities of contractors engaged in maintenance and for projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Facility Supervisor administers the CMMS system, including work orders, and KPI’sInterprets company & client policies and procedures to workers and enforcesThe Facility Supervisor recommends measures to improve productivity and quality of serviceAnalyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problemsCoaches and develops associates, documenting when necessary. Conducts annual performance reviews with the maintenance techniciansGenerates and closes site work orders ensuring all data is correct and meets account standardsCommunicates in person with client and through correspondence to determine needs, handle issues and suggest improvementsInterfaces with Vendors to ensure protocol is followedAssist Property Managers in project coordinationManage PM and inspection work ordersConduct building inspections and recommend improvements and identify safety concernsIs on call and available for emergenciesFollows EMCOR Culture Statement and drives the culture to entire organizationRequired to be onsite, this is not a remote positionAssist with event supportAny other duties as assigned Qualifications College degree preferred or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience in a commercial maintenance environmentMinimum of 1 year of experience as a maintenance lead or supervisorProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, E-mail and other software requiredExperience working with CMMS systems highly preferredA valid state driver’s license in good standing is preferred Equal Opportunity Employer As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
