Facility Operations Specialist

Job Summary: KBR is seeking a Facility Operations Specialist to support the daily operations at our Charleston Facility. This role will be responsible for ensuring the facility runs efficiently, securely, and in alignment with corporate and government requirements. This role requires experience in managing facilities, offices, or accounts, overseeing vendors, and coordinating teams. Roles and Responsibilities: + Serve as the primary point of contact for customer requests and inquiries related to facility operations. + Oversee facility functions including: facilities planning, office allocation, layout reconfigurations, preventative and corrective maintenance, repair activities, janitorial, move services, food services, and vendor support. + Ensure compliance with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) policies and oversee lifecycle management. + Manage vendor contracts for facility services (janitorial, coffee, catering, etc.), monitoring service-level compliance and cost-effectiveness. + Coordinate procurement and inventory of supplies and specialized equipment for operational readiness. + Administer access control, visitor management, deliveries, and meeting logistics. + Support energy and sustainability tracking through facility monitoring and reporting. + Partner with IT and security teams to support operational readiness, including workspace allocations, onboarding/offboarding, and IT asset deployment. + Oversee office service functions such as mail distribution, reprographics, office supply management, and event logistics. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities. + Manage receptionist staff, including scheduling, daily oversight, and service quality management. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic Qualifications: + BS/BA and 2+ years of facilities or account operations experience. In lieu of a degree 8 years of experience. + Proven experience in vendor contract management, procurement, and cost optimization. + Familiarity with GFE management, and IT/asset coordination. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
