**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of an acute care facility, encompassing all aspects of building maintenance, system repair, and preventive measures. This role requires a proactive approach to facility management, technical expertise in various trades, and strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff and clients.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs across all facility systems, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and water heating units.
+ Conduct routine inspections, diagnose technical issues, and execute timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
+ Implement and manage a robust preventive maintenance program for all mechanical, electrical, and critical building systems.
+ Oversee and maintain exterior grounds, including lawn care, and manage internal facility elements such as floors and drains.
+ Assist with the installation, modification, and commissioning of new building equipment and systems.
+ Utilize assigned work order systems to track and ensure the timely completion of maintenance tasks.
+ Support energy management initiatives by optimizing the efficiency of building systems and identifying areas for improvement.
+ Inspect existing installations and maintenance work for compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and organizational standards.
+ Engage professionally and courteously with staff, patients, and visitors, demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills.
+ Provide support to other facilities or off-site locations, which may involve travel, to assist with maintenance needs or contractor oversight.
+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
+ Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
+ Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $115,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
