Facility Maintenance Supervisor
**Job Title: Facility Supervisor** **Job Description** The role involves overseeing a Union Facility Group at a major automotive factory. The Facility Supervisor will manage trades workers responsible for HVAC, plumbing, millwright work, painting, and electrical repairs. Key tasks include handling repairs, scheduling, ordering supplies, enforcing disciplinary measures, and tracking progress. **Responsibilities** + Oversee trades workers performing HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical repairs. + Manage repair schedules and order necessary supplies. + Enforce disciplinary measures and track employee performance. + Ensure safety standards are implemented and maintained. **Essential Skills** + Experience in facilities maintenance, including working on machines and facility trades. + Leadership or supervision experience, preferably overseeing union workers for at least 5 years. + Strong safety implementation skills, with examples of standards held for employees. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Journeyman status is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the benefits of a salaried position, ensuring compensation for 40 hours weekly even when a day off is required. The work schedule includes weekend shifts, with AWS 4-10s from Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6pm to 4:30am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $36.06/hr.
