Job Title: Facility Maintenance Operator
Job Description

The facility maintenance operator will be an integral part of the facility maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep and physical maintenance of the building and grounds, excluding plumbing tasks.

ResponsibilitiesPerform general building repairs, such as replacing hinges, locks, and patching drywall.Carry out small installations like hanging frames, installing brackets, and using hand/power tools.Engage in painting projects, applying special paints and coating systems, such as epoxy resins, for touch-ups on walls and equipment.Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.Work safely at heights when necessary.Essential SkillsExperience in facility maintenance and renovation.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.At least two years of experience in building maintenance.Experience in maintenance repair and facilities maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsCarpentry experience is beneficial.Ability to perform tasks requiring carpentry-like skills, including accurate use of measuring tools and basic math skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is well-lit and temperature-controlled, with some tasks potentially requiring working at heights, such as climbing ladders. Employees must wear PPE in designated areas, including hairnets, beard nets, safety glasses, safety shoes, dust masks, coveralls, and shoe booties. The role primarily involves day shifts, but candidates should be open to working weekends and overtime in the evening if specific tasks require schedule adjustments.
