Facility Group Leader
**Job Title: Facility Group Leader** **Job Description** As a Facility Group Leader, you will oversee a team of trades workers at a Union Facility Group located at the Warren Tech Center. Your role will include managing repairs and scheduling, as well as ordering necessary supplies. You will spend approximately 70% of your time walking the floor and 30% in the office handling computer tasks. **Responsibilities** + Oversee trades workers performing repairs on HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical systems. + Manage repairs and scheduling to ensure efficient operations. + Order supplies and materials necessary for facility maintenance. + Walk the floor to supervise and ensure compliance with standards 70% of the time. + Perform office and computer work 30% of the time. **Essential Skills** + Experience in facility maintenance with a mechanical inclination. + Proven leadership or supervision skills, including accountability to metrics, attendance, and customer service. + Direct management experience of trades personnel. + Valid driver's license. + Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Teams, Office Suite, email, and Excel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with maintenance software, such as Maximo, is highly preferred. + Union experience is beneficial for understanding and adhering to union contracts. **Work Environment** The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
