Roles and Responsibilities
Performing technical work specific to electrical, equipment review, etc. Sign off on engineering design & certifications. Work with external vendors.Make sure new designs meet GE Aerospace and industry standards for all regulatory and safety requirements. Diagnose and resolve electrical and utility system issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address facility electrical related challenges.Develop new solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizationsWork together with business leadership at SPB and EB levelsSpecify needs, communicate about project approach and present outcomes of research doneDeveloping in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Electrical Engineering experience + minimum of 3 years high voltage experienceDesired Characteristics
