Facilities Technician II
Job Description ● Perform routine maintenance and repairs across building systems, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep ● Conduct preventative maintenance and regular facility inspections ● Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues independently ● Work collaboratively with other trades and external contractors on repairs and improvement projects ● Assist with office moves, workstation setups, and space reconfigurations ● Assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed ● Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe working condition ● Follow safety standards, procedures, and facility policies ● Travel occasionally to other company locations to support facility needs We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements ● 2–5 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or a related role ● Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry ● Ability to read work orders, manuals, and basic schematics ● Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time-management skills ● Good communication and customer service skills ● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely perform physical tasks ● Willingness to travel occasionally ● High school diploma or equivalent preferred ● Experience in manufacturing, lab, or technical environments ● Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems ● Trade certifications or safety training
