Job Title: 1st Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, minor carpentry, and more. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and ensuring the smooth operation of facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and minor carpentry tasks.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service.Execute assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.Maintain and repair carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, including faucets, toilets, air compressors, and lighting systems.Conduct repairs on flooring, tiling, and countertops, and manage exterior projects like fencing and painting.Perform light cleaning tasks and monitor shop tools.Respond promptly to emergency situations and attend training classes.Understand and follow regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and ensure EPA compliance.Collaborate with all departments and notify management of major repair needs.Stay updated on new equipment and tools, recommending purchases when necessary.Move heavy furniture or equipment manually or with hand trucks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union Grove, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
