Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Classification: Hourly
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Facilities Supervisor
Shift: M-F
Position Summary:
Maintain facilities – Buildings, Aux. Equipment, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist with basic repairs such as replacing light bulbs, changing filters, or patching minor wall damage.
+ Perform routine inspections of building systems and grounds
+ Support cleaning, groundskeeping, and basic equipment maintenance tasks
+ Maintain organized work areas and follow safety protocols
+ Report facility issues to supervisors in a timely manner
Skills & Competencies:
+ Strong verbal and written communication
+ Ability to use basic hand tools & follow safety procedures
+ Excellent problem solving and time management
+ Ability to read and comprehend basic English
+ Ability to follow instructions
+ Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment
+ Ability to read and comprehend basic English
+ Ability to follow instructions
+ Must be able to operate forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes and maintenance type vehicles.
+ Ability to oversee contractors
+ Computer skills
+ Basic mechanical or building repair aptitude
Education & Experience:
+ High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
+ Able to work in high places with aerial lifts and ladders
+ Able to lift heavy objects
+ Able to sit, bend, kneel, stand and walk.
+ Able to work in extreme heat and cold.
+ Willingness to learn and work to be the best of his/her abilities as well to help the Kobe Team to grow from your experience
