Facilities Technician

Job Title: Facilities Technician | $20-$25/hr | 1st shift | Ashland, OH

Job Description

Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, located in Ashland, OH. Your main role will be to provide general maintenance support to ensure our facilities remain safe, secure, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical systems.Perform general and preventative maintenance of carpentry and plumbing systems, including vendor management.Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.

Essential Skills

At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance.Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and building repairs.Skills in basic repairs to facility equipment.Ability to perform general mechanical and low voltage electric repairs.Experience with painting, preventive maintenance, carpentry, building maintenance, drywall, janitorial, and cleaning tasks.Proficiency in troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Basic ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
